Affordable Care Act help 1:00 PM - 4:45 PM
Affordable Care Act help
A Certified Affordable Care Act Application Counselor will be at the library every Sunday from November 13 - February 5 to provide no cost, in person information and enrollment assistance. He will explain the new options for comprehensive, affordable health coverage and will help people enroll in affordable health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace or New Jersey Family Care/Medicaid.

Scrabble Club 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Scrabble Club
The library has started a Scrabble Club which will meet on the second Wednesday of the month, except August, from 2 – 4 PM. Beginners, experts, and all word game enthusiasts are invited to join us at the library for a challenging and fun afternoon playing Scrabble.  Read more...

Just Out of the Box…Office Movie Series at 2 & 7 PM: Florence Foster Jenkins PG-13
The library is offering a film series called “Just Out of the Box…Office” which features newly-released movies on DVD and Blu-Ray. This afternoon's movie will be Florence Foster Jenkins, featuring Meryl Streep as a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice.

Exhibit: The Life and Art of Mieke van Ommen-de Mos (Oct. 10 - Jan. 8)
Maria (aka Mieke) van Ommen-de Mos(1921-2014) grew up on Sumatra in the Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia. She was a budding artist at the time and wrote a personal diary of her life and thoughts from Jan. 1941 until Nov.1943, as Japan invaded Sumatra placing her in “Family Internment” from March 1942-August 1945. She did many watercolors and sketches of life, as well as flowers, dress designs, and Poeloe Brayan Camp. An exhibit reception will be held on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. where attendees can meet the exhibit curator, Mark de Mos and hear even more about Mieke’s story.  Read more...

The 3M Cloud Library is now simply called Cloud Library. This service provides downloadable audio and eBooks. Download the appropriate app and get started. Once you have the app downloaded you can browse for books and read or listen to them on your device. And it's all free.
